Manchester United alarmingly pedestrian. Lacked energy in central midfield. You can see why £70m was being mentioned for Myles Lewis-Skelly as a central midfielder who can also play left-back. Better in midfield. Arsenal determined to keep him now, understandably, he’s class, only 19, delivering already and will get better and better.. You can also see why United went off and got Carlos Baleba. He’ll bring some athleticism and aggression to United’s midfield. All a contrast to Hull City’s energy and desire. #HULMUN

Tzolis last night. Tzolakis today. Greece is the word. Tzolakis impressing in Hull City goal. Good value at only £20m from Olympiakos. Two smart saves, calm. And only 23. #HULMUN

This is the same old disjointed "tippy-tappy short pass, go forwards, stop, pass backwards, kill all the momentum" nonsense we've suffered for years. No-one wants to make a risky or first-time pass in case it doesn't come off. There's no "bravado" for want of a better word. If the rest of the season plays out like this, I can't see United being in the top half (or making a decent fist out of the cups.)
(Hull, on the other hand, are whipping the ball back and forth across the pitch and, obviously, that's much more successful!)

Tigers 2 Pussycats 0 half-time. Manchester United have some very good players but they are simply not matching Hull City’s work ethic and determination, especially at set-pieces. The basics. Hull look fitter, hungrier, sharper. Slater, McBurnie superb #HULMUN

I've been saying "defender on the post at corners" when United play for, oh, a good 15 years now and yep, they're still not doing it and yep, they're still conceding soft goals from corners. What is even the point of training and having a manager and all that if they're just going to ignore BASIC SENSE AND COMPETENCE?
