I increasingly fear that, after 2+ years of reading 95% romances, I have been wrecked for reading anything that isn’t #cozy.
Currently reading Angel Mage, by Garth Nix, an *excellent* author, and I keep wondering, what’s the point of all this drama and pain? What do I gain by inhabiting the psyche of stressed people fighting for their lives, when I could be inhabiting sane people, doing their best, working through their problems, and supporting each other? 🤔
