Advocates & Activists, I'm making a list of things you hear/experience that are actually resistance because I like to teach #HSCP students to recognise resistance.
Is there anything you'd add?
1. Delays in answering a request/partial answers.
2. "There were no issues until you got involved"
3. Being told you're putting ideas in the head of the person you're supporting.
4. Being asked for your qualifications in response to a request.
5. Agreement, but no progress -
Really enjoyed @danmcquillan conversation with @parismarx on AI. They discuss AI in social policy decisions. Think AI applying the rules in social welfare decisions.
My #HSCP students think so much about how being distant from the outcome of a report they write can affect their ethical decision making. It's already a problem. It's frightening to think about AI applying social policy to people's lives. No room for the students ethical doubt and moral courage.
