I just went through and cleaned out a large bunch of dead and/or dormant accounts. I could have gone harder but an account that hasn't posted since 2023 is a bit more likely to come back again than one from 2019 or 2018 like a bunch of them were. Will probably do another one soon.
I guess I should start looking to add new, live accounts, they're much more fun.

I had to explain to spouse how visual clutter and every little thing in my field of vision that was wrong/undone/broken in this house was subconsciously contributing to my stress. I didn’t know it was related to Cognitive Load Theory, but that makes sense. I described it like Morpheus did about the matrix: “like a splinter in your mind.” 🕶️

I decided to clean the house today after I saw a gang of burly dust bunnies trying to pull the cat under the couch.

I spent the day dusting my #gunpla, and packing them into moving boxes. I haven't cleaned them since I moved here 4 years ago.
I don't think I will ever put so many out without display cases.
I still have some from the previous apartment (or work place) that I never took out of their storage boxes...I'm glad my #warhammer models are all in sealed containers. Even if I can't display them.
Also farewell to my airbrush booth and my dry brush palette.

Yesterday I made a DOOM pile that covered the whole table. Today, the fam and I sorted it in 15 minutes. The kids did not believe it could be done; we negotiated very strict guarantees and incentives. Then we did it and it worked. Success

Update: In an effort to stay out of his way while he was working where my desk is, I ended up sweeping the carpet in the sunroom so I've been productive after all.
Cleaning the horrible indoor/outdoor carpet in the sunroom is the worst job so I put it off forever.
It is made of something akin to Velcro I swear it clings to everything from dust to hair to bits of twig. I sweep and then vaccum and then it still looks like it needs a clean.

So yesterday's plan to be organized and productive was smacked down by a day-long migraine.
Here's hoping today goes better, Mastodonians. My task-list is in the hashtags 😜.
