It starts off with what sounds like it's going to be a cover of Roadrunner (but isn't), and *greatly* pares back the more shoegaze-y sound of the debut, to excellent effect.

Writing involves the reader’s attention & their heart. What was my first book that did that?That was a while ago.
The first one I remember giving me the "feels" I read in elementary school--in our little class library (not the school library) in 3rd or 4th grade. The Island Stallion by Walter Farley. It made me a horse fan (I bought all Farley's books). Like the Black Stallion (same author).
My teacher gifted me the book I read it so many times.
