New (to me) term identified in the wild: 'homoglyph attack' --> a scam that hinges on the use of identical or near-identical characters from the wrong unicode block or whatever to get you to click on something.
We've been talking about this for a long time, but didn't have the term.
(I wonder if screen readers would foil this kind of attack?)
