@gerolf_antritt wurde interviewt und – was soll ich sagen? – auch als Interviewter gebührt ihm der #interviewnobelpreis.
Ich *sah* den #antrittpodcast. Was bei dem gezeigten Rad der Träume kein Nachteil war. ;-) Aber ich wünsche mir, dass der #antrittpodcast ein Medium bleibt, wofür die Ohren genügen.
Im Übrigen kann ich Gerolfs Einschätzung – auf freilich radfahramateurhaftem Niveau – bestätigen: Der Umstieg von 3×9 auf 1×10 ist weniger dramatisch als befürchtet. #rosebikes #hobo

the result is way too clean though, I'll add more dirt, torn stickers, rust stains and erosion traces to remove any doubt about the rat's style of the furniture 😉

Yesterday I still had to use the heating at night. Today I had to use the ventilator the first time, because it's 28°C (82°F) in my trailer (even with a protecting roof).
That escalated quickly!
btw. the ventilator is solar powered.

If you're ever near Mt. Shasta/Weed, CA, be sure to check out the Black Butte Center for Rail Culture. It's really cool, especially for those of us who used to ride freight trains.
I was last there in 2017. One of the not-to-miss sights is the 1926 water tower across the tracks. Dating from the steam train era, there are old hobo tags from the 1930s carved into the wooden base. It's nice to sit there and imagine...
