Private Equity company Modella Capital is who bought #WHSmiths in a deal worth £76 million.
They also bought #Hobbycraft, who I read earlier have been selling kids playsand with asbestos in it but refuse to issue a recall:

Mini Hobbycraft haul arrived nice and quickly! The supposed "yellow" aida is more of a brown, but at least it was half price. I'll still find a use for it.
Unreasonably excited to have a decent stock of elastic again. So many elastic waistband dresses in my near future!

Haven't been on here much this week, but this morning's visit was timed perfectly to read that Hobbycraft have a decent sale on.
Lots of new aida fabric, some air dry clay and some random replacement elastic coming my way!

Wow #hobbyCraft's (UK) website is *completely* broken if you block tracking. Nothing works. You can't navigate, you can't search, you certainly can't order anything.
