The second Astro LP I own is "Darkness Dynamics", limited to only 100 copies. It has a nice underwater photo by Dan Burke (Illusion of Safety, etc.) glued to the cover. A pair of large live photos of #Astro is included. Also, a letter from the guy behind the Trust Lost label. And the sound? It's typical Astro, with waves of synth, always moving. Sometimes quite noisy, but rather constrained. I like it a lot more than I remember, actually. #noise #synth #HiroshiHasegawa #NowPlaying

#NowPlaying Astro / Hiroshi Hasegawa – "Live At Muryoku Muzen Temple". His live stuff tends to be less BLIPETIBLOOP than his studio work, and closer to the good old CCCC, although a bit more constrained. However, I haven't checked out his recent releases, which I probably should. I think I heard that one of his new LPs is particularly good? Anyway - this one I like a lot.
