    I would love to be at #Balticon right now. Sadly, once the kid got into middle and high school going on that trip for Memorial day weekend got pretty difficult. It's always a stretch considering that we usually go to #Heroescon which is 2 or 3 weeks later.

    Maybe I will get back in a few years after the kid has graduated high school. I've had a fun time every time I've been.

    @ScottEdelman I straight up forgot that Don worked on those Wasteland comics. For a long time I knew Del Close only as the writer of this comic. He goes to #Heroescon pretty consistently so I should bring some of those this year.

    I had an absolute brain fart one year and brought Normalman #1. Wrong superhero parody!

    One of the classic comic book covers of its era (1983), in my opinion. It was painted by Bob Larkin.

    I picked this copy up at #HeroesCon yesterday. My original copy I bought back in the day, and still have, has its lower right corner chewed off by the pet rabbit I had at the time.

    I’m now halfway to completing the full run of Star*Reach. I’m two issues short of the original quest issues of ElfQuest. Very pleased to finally have both issues of Mark Gruenwald’s fanzine, Omniverse. This is the start of trying to get all the issues of Shogun Warriors.     Getting ready for the last day of #heroescon . It has been a fun time. Some of the standouts: interacting with the #cartoonistKayfabe boys Ed Piskor and Jim Rugg as well as cool cats Brett Parson, Michel Fiffe, Richard Case, Bridgit Connell and Matt Kindt.

    I bought some art, piles of cheap comics and a lot of books directly from the creators. Weekend well spent!

    I’m a bit late to reading #DoAPowerbomb by #DanielWarrenJohnson but I got hooked with the first twist and the end of the #2 just blew my fn MIND.

    I now regret not buying issue #1 when it came out & having him sign it when I went to #HeroesCon last summer, not for any other reason than it’s the only thing akin to an autograph that I appreciate. (He did sign my hardcover cover of the mind-blowingly good #MurderFalcon, complete with an awesome drawing of Murf.)

    I’m an idiot for not reading this sooner - especially since a #ProWrestling-inspired #comic has been percolating in my head for about a year.
