I now have the daunting task of sorting and uploading the videos for #TailsOfIron because let me tell you, for a short game like that, there was a TON of boss fights there!
I'm also considering moving to PeerTube instead, because fuck Google.

Well, credits rolling for #Hellpoint. I see and like where the devs wanted to go with the worldbuilding, but the game is riddled with issues, both in design (map layouts, combat, story development) as on a yechnical level (so. many. bugs).
Also, I spent two hours getting a certain material in order to fight the secret boss and I think the game glitched on me, ignored it, and showed me a different ending, so FML.
I really can't recommend this game, it has some good ideas but it's a hot mess.

After more than a dozen tries I finally beat the risen Congregators in #Hellpoint. A very difficult double boss, where one was supposed to be melee and the other one ranged, but in practice both had all sorts of attacks, and their attacks eat away large chunks of your health.
But they're finally dead, so I can move forward (I still have no idea where I'm going or why, this game is even more cryptical than Dark Souls)

I have started playing #Hellpoint but it's quite unlikely I'll stick with it until the end.
The combat system feels extremely bland, and the level design is a hot mess where it is impissible to get any sense of direction. I have made it to the third boss, died, and now I have absolutely no clue how to get back to it.

Welp. Looks like I'm playing #Hellpoint.
Picked it up a few months ago and didn't really give it a shot. And whilst absolutely nothing else is grabbing me right now, figured I'd spend a little time with this.
90 minutes later and I'm pretty happy with what I see.

Maybe it's just the current gaming zeitgeist, but every time I see #veilid mentioned, it makes me think it's somehow related to Mind Flayers 🐙 #illithid
And when I say the name out loud in the intended way (rather than in a Norwegian way), it stirs memories of a voice line from the computer terminals in #hellpoint.
I'm really interested in Veilid, but the auspices aren't good...

I found a new way in Dominion Baths. I met BlackOps soldiers there who are a different type of enemy. All the others are like wild tribes living in an abandoned space station, mutated and deranged. But these new guys are from the outside, so now I feel like a monster from a horror story that hunts them one by one in my ancient warrior's armour and with a magical staff.
Building the atmosphere was always the strongest side of "Hellpoint."
