📬 ICYMI: I launched Heatshed, a newsletter on how we plan for and govern extreme heat.
Two posts so far: "What is a 'heatshed'?" and "Air conditioning is not a guarantee for heat protection," on why 90% AC adoption in the United States measures equipment rather than protection.
Free, roughly monthly, written for people who want to address extreme heat.

That is what a “heatshed” names. It’s the physical and policy scale at which heat actually operates, and therefore the scale at which it has to be planned for and governed."
