    THE TENANT AT the centre of the #JimGavin rent payment issue contacted #FiannaFáil on Saturday but has not received any call back from either the party or the former candidate, reports #TheJournal.

    Surely, being v helpful to the tenant was #FiannaFai's obvious priority for damage limitation? Instead, this is looking more and more like #Haughey era damage maximisation.

    I hadn't foreseen that Micheál Martin's career would end so badly.
