    This is so exciting, and verifies Harry Bell's suggestion that the castle mound was inhabited for much longer than the medieval castle. This idea arose because Crookston Castle is a key site on his Glasgow Network of Aligned Sites, with many alignments running through it. Harry would be delighted that his claim has finally been vindicated.
