Might’ve probably had my final season’s pond swim today. Really, “invigorating” and “refreshing” do not convey the sensation of chill, on entering the water, whilst swimming, and then lingering with me, even once dressed & walking home. Most of the ducks & coots seem to have relocated — migrated? — so I’m not alone in eschewing the ponds, for now. #swimming #ponds #hampsteadheath #hampsteadponds
