#WritersCoffeeClub MAR-26 In your opinion, name a book, movie or TV show where the ending spoils the story
The series #HalfBad/ #TheBastardSonAndTheDevilHimself built up to the very moment of Nathan Bryne meeting his father, where I expected him to find or realize something to make the world he lives in, a better place. But yeah, nothing of that sort happened. It was quite anticlimactic. Meh 🤷🏻

For me, it's
– #StopImAlreadyDead by #DeadboyAndTheElephantmen as #iZombie's theme song
– #HalfBad by #LetsEatGrandma from the soundtrack of #TheBastardSonAndTheDevilHimself
– #WhereIsMyMind by #ThePixies in #Warehouse13, covered by #AllisonScagliotti
- Bitch by #MeredithBrooks via #OrphanBlack -
So @IamMrsGeek started watching #HalfBad last night and it caught my attention so I looked it up and noticed it's based on a trilogy of books.
Then today she mentions there's only eight episodes.
That's not enough for a trilogy.

I just finished binge-watching "Half Bad" (The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself) on Netflix with my son. It was his first time, my second.
It's one of the most gripping, original, and enjoyable things I've seen on television in a long time.
I can understand the pandemic leading to the cancellation of "I Am Not Okay With This" and "Teenage Bounty Hunters" (two other superb shows with young casts) but it's a travesty that they cancelled "Half Bad."

I finished watching season 1 of Half Bad: The Bastard Son and the Devil Himself.
Overall it was quite good. Even so, there are some things about it that I wasn't thrilled about. Actions of characters that don't make a lot of sense, real mustache-twirling villains. But it managed to rise above the problems. Honestly, it felt like an interesting setting for an RPG.
