  1. #HackdaysUri were featured in the Swiss media: discussing one challenge in particular of mapping building accessibility for people with disabilities. The event brought together around 40 experts to explore ways to improve information accessibility, building on existing platforms like Procap and Pro Infirmis.

The goal was to create better and more centralized ways to collect and share data about accessible places. The participants found that existing solutions can be improved and expanded rather than reinvented, and a "Barrier-Free Switzerland" map can be enhanced for better dissemination.

The event highlighted the potential for collaboration and technology to make information more accessible and reduce the research burden on people with disabilities.

  2. Congratulations to all contributors and organizers of #HackdaysUri last weekend. Looking forward to hear more about your impact! In the meantime, I see your ideas cooking on #Dribdat

  3. Last year we built an #opensource test-bed for evaluating locally hosted AI solutions in the Canton of Uri. Now the platform is running #Apertus to give hackathon participants real-time coaching and evaluation of their efforts. Thanks @janikvonrotz for the support & engaged beta-testing.

Seems like "Kantonsmitarbeitende" is one of those words that one just has to know to get by :neocat_wink: hack.digital-cluster-uri.ch/pr
