I popped in to the vet this morning with a bunch of stuff* that was Pikelet's and that I don't want to go to waste. They're a small vet clinic, owned and run by women with mostly all women staffing it. They're amazing, and we're so kind and caring on Wednesday when I took her in.
I chatted with Bernadette, who is the vet the dogs see. She said she was sorry to hear what happened, and sorry that she hadn't been in on Wednesday when it happened.. and that it they'd gratefully take the bits and pieces I was dropping off. Nobody there has guinea pigs, but she said they get them in as patients fairly often and she'll happily pass on the food and treats to a client as a surprise gift.
I still have to break down her cage, but I don't have the energy or emotional capacity to deal with it today.

-a bag of timothy hay treats
-some coffee wood chews -
