Timo wollte unbedingt das trist schwarze Grundig Concert Boy Radio (Bj. 1991 - 1993) wieder schön machen.
Technisch hatte es unser Elektromeister wieder fit gemacht, aber das Design war schon sehr traurig.
Hilfe bekam er von unserem Nachbarn @Pulverfass
Die haben die Pulverbeschichtung für das Lautsprechergitter übernommen.
Timo selbst hat die Knöpfe lackiert.Hier könnt Ihr es kaufen:

Was hier aussieht wie knallbunte Lutscher sind in Wirklichkeit Bedienknöpfe eines Grundig ConcertBoy Radios.
Unser Team Mitglied Timo wollte das Radio farblich etwas aufpeppen.
Passend dazu hat @Pulverfass

Mannaggia che sfortuna … durato poco … questo #tv credo sia saltato un condensatore … mi dicono che sia chiama #rifa … qualcuno mi suggerisce di dissaldarlo e riaccendere il tv . Questi condensatori servono per filtrare la corrente della #220 … non essendo un esperto proverò a fare quello che mi suggeriscono , sperando di non folgorarmi. 😅
Eppure nonostante lo scoppiettio e fumo , l’immagine si vedeva molto bene .

#crt della #grundig appena arrivato , grazie ad un regalo di un mio vecchio amico. Ancora qualche piccolo settaggio dentro il #service mode e spero di risolvere. Spero che il telecomando funzioni . Pile in carica .

Mal eine Frage an #Cabel / #DOCSIS Experten. In einer Wohnung (Essen) ist Kabelanschluss (Vodafone) Daten liegen an. TV ist IMHO dazugebucht.
Ein sehr alter #Grundig (2014) mit Cabeltuner bekommt keinen Sender.
Hat jemand eine Idee? Ich habe es mit allen möglichen Suchläufen versucht. Nichts zu machen.

Clearing the house of my parents. There was a time when #Grundig #tv sets were designed and manufactured in the town that I live in, in #Germany.
They came with a large, complete circuitry diagram with #oscilloscope "screenshots" and adjustment instructions, so you could check on your own whether everything was ok at various measurement points.
They were built to be maintained and repaired, not to be instantly replaced.
The "Grundig" company is long gone, but somebody bought the #brand rights, so you can essentially buy the "Grundig" label and slap it onto your crappy throwaway products. Remember that when you see a "German" Grundig device somewhere in a store.

@schenklklopfer @zalintyre Wir haben uns gerade einen preiswerten 43"-Fernseher mit Mini-LEDs gekauft. Wenn man die ganzen Software-"Bildverbesserungen" abschaltet, ist das Bild für uns auch zufriedenstellend. Nervig ist nur das langsame Ansprechen und die mitunter haklige Bedienoberfläche. Auf dem Gerät steht zwar #Grundig drauf - dahinter verbirgt sich aber ein #GoogleTV eines türkischen Herstellers, der die Markenrechte gekauft hat. 🤨

So... in laws had an issue with their web radio "not connecting to the net". WiFi was always spotty in that location but now it stopped completely.
Turns out that thing retrieves a channel list from grundig dot vtuner dot com and while the general vtuner website still works the server for #grundig does time out.
Apparently the model in question is no longer supported as well. Didn't dig further. In laws decided to buy a newer model.
In other words: Repeating the same mistake again. Cloud 💩
