Doing the grey nomad thing. I was half way between Clermont and Alpha in central west Queensland towing my campervan on corrugated dirt roads when a vehicle coming up from behind alerted me to a problem. My trailer electric link had come loose and was trailing in the dirt.
But I was lucky enough to find Cody at the Pearce garage in Jericho who was happy to interrupt his other work and get me on my way again.
He also does the roadside assist for the area. Great mechanic and all round nice guy.

On the road again, doing the #GreyNomad thing.
I called in for a break at Wunghnu which is just south of Numurkah and I'm sure that everyone knows where that is. I spotted this renovator's delight on 900sq MTRS. I was tempted to put in a bid. With the state of the Australian housing market you probably wouldn't get any change out of $1million. But it's just a short walk from the mechanics institute pub where I am certain that you can learn a lot about mechanical things while having a nice cold beer.
It was there that I met a local called Doug who quickly offered me a campsite on his farm but I had a feeling that might turn into a heavy drinking session so I declined, maybe on the way home.
Tonight I'm staying in a nice little caravan park in Tocumwal. Lovely little town on the Murray.
