Yesterday's excellent closing keynote by Johanna Drucker on 'Modeling Temporality; visualising chronologies & graphic modeling as knowledge production' made me think of synchronicity in my own research. From where I stand in time, things in the past happened at the same time - like anti-Jewish measures and events in music life - but for the people who lived these experiences this may or may not be the same.

Semantic webs are designed for unambiguous and available data, but historical data are often missing, uncertain or even conflicting. Introducing viewpoints, the Structured Assertion Record Model is able to deal with controversy in #LinkedOpenData
