I really should have a look at who’s re-started citing my daml-s papers again, I bet it’s for this stuff, I wonder if it’s useful? @josevalim @josevalim.bsky.social makes the point that making stuff so easy for ai agents to understand, it will be a lot more usable for human programmers too — contra some of the #agi doomers. #gotoCPH

The hard part of stealing data these days is getting it where you can use it after accessed it. Increasingly hackers just publish things so they can access them anonymously, even if everyone else can too. @adrianmouat #cybersecurity #devops #gotoCPH

I ask why security can’t be integrated into the teams, and why there isn’t enough supply for solving such an exciting and geeky part of the problem? Another audience member suggests the problem is the common bundling of security with compliance, but the personalities that thrive in those two tasks are extremely different.

I’m not crazy about the idea of giving speakers reviews, I think even the process is alienating, but then giving those reviews to the speakers? The first time I got reviewed or heard of getting reviewed was CLEF 2 weeks ago where I apparently came in first, but didn’t even feel happy about knowing that. I felt bad for the other speakers. #gotocph sends you raw reviews. Teaching reviews twice a year are trauma enough, IMO.

Holly Commins #gotoCPH AI is good for writing code, but not at maintaining it. No code is perfect, even if by some amazing chance it's perfect for the moment, demands change.
