Ralph Erskine, Scottish Presbyterian, urges mercy to all: the poor and afflicted. Mercy to bodies with bounty, alms, charity, and benevolence, especially to the faith. Mercy to souls, by means of prayer, acts of piety, counsels, reproofs, and religious example.
I see presentations on charity where the mercy to body is mentioned as an embarrassing prelude to the only point: a gospel presentation.
How can you remember mercy to all? All of them?

Thomas Chalmers, Scottish Presbyterian minister, writes on “turning the other cheek” from the Sermon on the Mount. We are prone to dream up scenarios where obedience might be painful or inconvenient. There is a temptation to set aside the commandment.
Some others say these rules were for a different time.
