It's just a tad disingenuous to automatically classify all these attacks as "antisemitic" during years when The Jewish State™ is COMMITTING A #GENOCIDE while the nations of the world mostly sit back in silence (when theyre not actively serving as #GenocidesBodyguards). SOME people are likely frustrated enough by that to feel like they have to do SOMETHING, striking the most related targets that are within reach.
Make no mistake, these attacks are all still #terrorism. They're all still murder. They're all still crimes against God's law AND man's, especially since it's logically fallacious to hold THE WORLD'S JEWS accountable for the actions of #IsraelAtWarCrimes--just as it would be to indiscriminately murder AMERICAN noncombatants for the #CrimesAgainstHumanity of the Trump Administration.
But it seems AT LEAST as likely that MOST of these attacks are motivated by the hatred OF GENOCIDE that--in theory--WE'RE ALL SUPPOSED TO SHARE, rather than hatred OF JEWS, which is what antisemitism is SUPPOSED TO be about.
Yes, we will probably find a few cases OF NAZIS getting in on the act, too, to try to exploit the cause of #JusticeForPalestine to <ahem> whitewash their antisemitism. Just as we might find A FEW who are agents of the #FauxlamicRepublic of Iran trying to exploit it to garner sympathy for their terrorist attacks on Western targets as part of the war. But those are (1) likely to be a minority, and (2) are different conversations altogether when they arise.

#IsraelAtWarCrimes just keeps invading its neighbors. If this situation were reversed, the UNSC would have authorized regime change by now.
The UN General Assembly needs to take a vote to authorize any country with the capabilities to do so to conduct strikes on Zionist forces operating anywhere outside the internationally-recognized borders of Israel (including settler-terrorists operating in occupied Palestine, and IDF forces supporting them).
The international community cannot continue to allow veto-wielding UNSC members acting as #GenocidesBodyguards to obstruct the enforcement of international law--if they want it to retain EVEN A SHRED OF credibility.

Given the focused nature of the smash-and-grab, and the parties involved, it does seem fairly likely that #IsraelAtWarCrimes (perhaps with "a little help from its friends" among #GenocidesBodyguards) has found a new way to obtain targeting intelligence on its favorite victims: Palestinian civilians.
This bears watching, both for those concerned about the humanitarian impact and accountability before the International Court of Justice (ICJ), and for #intelligence and #counterintelligence professionals contemplating what has been clearly an emerging source/method of collection. The latter should view this is connection with the other news I posted on this morning, in which our #SurveillanceCapitalism architecture is being exploited by hostile governments (including our own!) to track and target both deployed military personnel and dissenting citizens....

So even for @NPR -- long the iconic newsroom of the American left -- Starmer's problems leading to these devastating losses were due to the UK's "surging antisemitism" (fair enough, I suppose, with the biggest BENEFICIARY of those losses being Britain's nazis!), with no mention AT ALL of his government's enthusiastic service as #GenocidesBodyguards for #IsraelAtWarCrimes, or its authoritarian crackdown ON HIS OWN CONSTITUENTS when they tried to protest it (echoes of #GenocideJoe's unforced errors on THIS side of the pond).
And speaking of which--learning no lessons whatsoever from the rise of AMERICA'S nazi party from its shallow grave--they're doggedly pretending Reform UK is merely politics as usual, and not THE SAME FASCIST ASSAULT ON DEMOCRACY WE JUST FELL TO, just wrapped in a Union Jack, by describing it as simply "right wing populist" rather than the ghost of Britain's white nationalist colonial past.
Disappointing. Is anybody in politics OR journalism even going to recognize that WE'RE AT WAR, before Washington AND London are draped in victorious swastikas? Pretty sure THE PEOPLE get it, given Green's solid performance (reported here almost as a footnote).... 😖

Silver lining: this will provide a powerful structural incentive for war criminals to self-identify into a government database so we can prosecute them for #CrimesAgainstHumanity down the road.
If this passes, organizations fighting for #JusticeForPalestine need to remember this exists, so it can be FOIA'd or subpoenaed after the political winds in the U.S. shift toward accountability for #IsraelAtWarCrimes and #GenocidesBodyguards.

We have a formal, collective obligation under international law to intervene to prevent the crime of #genocide
When our societies consistently & repeatedly FAIL TO MEET that formal obligation (instead, in fact, serving enthusiastically as #GenocidesBodyguards), I would have to acknowledge some legitimacy to an argument that individuals who recognize that failure inherit an obligation to act to do so themselves.
When that action escalates to violence against persons who are noncombatants (a.k.a., terrorism) it is rightly viewed to have crossed a line to which extra criminal penalties should attach--although the individuals may be happy TO ACCEPT those penalties owing to the moral weight attached to their obligation.
But in cases like this, where that action escalates solely to violence AGAINST PROPERTY, our American tradition of protest has typically balanced the need for the law to recognize that a crime has occurred WITH some weight given, in mitigation, to a credible argument that the violence was committed to strike a blow against injustice, when mere speech has long gone unheard by the oppressor (e.g., rioting during the Civil Rights movement, as recognized by #MLK in his speech, "The Other America").
I would suggest that this is the standard that justice demands be applied here--and emphatically NOT the one that INCREASES penalties in crimes against persons.

(I would also argue that these attacks are immoral under ALLAH'S law as well, based on verses such as Qur'an 22:40: "Were it not that Allah repels people by means of others, monasteries, churches, SYNAGOGUES, and mosques—where the name of God is mentioned much—would have been demolished," suggesting that it is THEIR DEFENDERS who are engaged in jihad).
But from all the statements I've seen, these attacks are not being motivated by HATRED OF JEWS FOR BEING JEWS (antisemitism), but rather by the fact that a geopolitical entity loudly marketing itself as THE JEWISH STATE™ is slaughtering thousands of civilians in illegal armed aggression against MULTIPLE sovereign nations (Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran) while the "civilized" world DEFENDS THEM AND SUPPLIES THEM WITH THE WEAPONS FOR IT, as #GenocidesBodyguards.
That's not antisemitism; it's collective self-defense.

Also by making it sound like Israeli and U.S. strikes were far more successful than OUR OWN INTELLIGENCE suggests they were.
The Ayatollahs' regime is plenty good at making itself look bad on its own--it doesn't need Western media spreading #disinformation in a misguided attempt to help! 😅

There can be no doubt: #IsraelAtWarCrimes is guilty of the crime of #genocide.
Which, under the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide, means the rest of us are LEGALLY OBLIGATED to intervene to stop and punish them. Not arm them, give them diplomatic topcover, and act as #GenocidesBodyguards.

Ironically, the main thing this war is demonstrating is why its absolutely essential THAT IRAN OBTAIN a nuclear weapons capability, ASAP.
Iran TRIED appeasing the West for decades, but while Europe and America were (pre-Trump) prepared to be satisfied with the results of a rules-based negotiation (the JCPOA), Israel responded first with a disinformation campaign AGAINST the agreement--and then with a long AND ESCALATING series of unprovoked attacks against Iranian sovereignty and a program that, for a long time, IAEA monitors & western intelligence agencies affirmed to be in continued, unilateral compliance.
Tragically, without a credible nuclear deterrent against the (illegally) nuclear-armed #IsraelAtWarCrimes, Iran has been unable to show the Zionist bully any reason why it shouldn't continue to do whatever the hell it pleases. And with America & its permanent UNSC veto standing resolutely--under both the #Donjjal AND #GenocideJoe Biden before him--as #GenocidesBodyguards as it advances the #EthnicCleansing of Palestine, it's all to clear they can't rely on anybody's strength but their own, and Allah's--notwithstanding the ineffectual protestations of a Russia that #VladTheInvader has mired in an unsolvable military mess of its own.
