#Palestine / Gaza's North: Mass demolitions, displacement, and fortifications expose Israel's military strategy (implementation of the so called “Generals' Plan”)

#WAPO is reporting that Israel's military offensive in northern Gaza has resulted in the mass demolition of homes and the construction of military fortifications in formerly residential areas. Over 100,000 Palestinians have been displaced, with 30,000 to 50,000 remaining in the area, facing potential famine due to restricted aid access. Satellite imagery reveals the destruction of almost half of #Jabalya refugee camp, creating a military corridor stretching from the sea to the Israeli border.

Residents describe widespread targeting of civilians, forced evacuations with family separations, and abuse during screenings. The actions are compared to previous #IDF strategies of creating militarized buffer zones, raising concerns about long-term Israeli control of northern #Gaza.

The IDF claims to target only military objectives and cites the need to prevent Palestinians from being used as human shields, while former Israeli officials have accused the IDF of ethnic cleansing.

Israel is carrying out war crimes and crimes against humanity. Large-scale civilian casualties, collapse of vital infrastructure and institutions, and denial of humanitarian aid in northern Gaza are creating a humanitarian crisis amounting to "starving the hundreds of thousands of people who live there. #Haaretz’s editorial calls it what it is. A grave suspicion that Israel is perpetrating ethnic cleansing by killing, starving and expelling Palestinians from northern Gaza.
