In other #GardenReport news, we have 22 healthy baby asparagus! We only paid for 20, so our sprouting rate really exceeded expectations, lol. I think a few were tangled together.

Asparagus crown #10 has sprouted, meaning fully half the crowns we planted are doing well, and I should stop worrying about the other half.
Also sprouting are the Swiss chard and cosmos. It's going to be delicious/beautiful here later this summer!

It's so nice to have rain that's not just a thin drizzle on the one hand, or flood- and erosion-inducing violent thunderstorm on the other.
In #GardenReport news, 7 of the 20 asparagus crowns we planted have sprouted. Spouse was starting to get worried, but they're coming up at a rate of one per day. 🌱
