Estoy pensando en armar una agenda colaborativa para el valle de Calamuchita con #gancio. Quizá me estoy anticipando demasiado, pero tengo dudas sobre la moderación de eventos. Entiendo que la plataforma nació para difundir manifestaciones y que pone énfasis en el anonimato. Así usuarixs anónimxs pueden crear eventos (sujetos a moderación) y usuarixs con cuenta pueden crear eventos directamente, pero ni lxs admin pueden saber quién creo qué evento. Es así?

Postawiliśmy go w @koop by polskie wydarzenia na mobilizonie nie zmarły wraz z upadającymi serwisami znanej fundacji. A @kalisz79 opisał proces importowania wydarzeń z Facebooka!

W przygotowaniu wydarzenia.info, na razie zbieramy budżet na ten kolejny projekt. Nie trzeba będzie się przenosić, po uruchomieniu, bo oba serwisy będą sfederowane.

Mobilizon to nie tylko wydarzenia, ale i grupy, dyskusje, tworzenie stron (landing pages) - wszystko co potrzebne by nie musieć korzystać z Facebooka, który ostatnio seryjnie blokuje konta organizacji. Zachęcam do zapoznania się z możliwościami mobilizona i ewentualnie dołączenia do projektu: potrzeba moderatorów i adminów. P.S. Prowadzimy też serwis Gancio.pl, jeśli wolicie publikować wydarzenia anonimowo, bez zakładania profilu. Również są dostępne w fedi!

Hattiesburg's punk/DIY/zine scene is really representing in the fediverse — I'm impressed!

The #punk adoption of the fedi in MS: has it been one or two folks instigating it, or did it happen organically?

One eventual goal I have for highbias.org — and a #gancio DIY event calendar I'll soon be launching — is to invite the north Alabama punk/DIY community to join, easing them out of the Meta trap. Advice?

@andypiper @cymplecy @kianryan I wonder if between us we could finesse something on fedi to amplify what I'm going to (self-deprecatingly!) refer to as Weird Nerd Events. Maybe a combination of:

• dedicated hashtag that people can use (but perhaps not #WeirdNerdEventUK?!)
• bot that boosts posts from pure "event announcement accounts" (are there (m)any?)
• ...and/or posts snippits from monitored website RSS feeds (like say https://blog.emfcamp.org/rss)
