So yeah if you have alkaline soil like we have in Grey-Bruce then you want a garde tools coated in anodic magnesium or zinc so that soil will be more acidic where you work.
Same if you have neutral soil, as optimal nutrient absorption is in soil of Ph 6.5.

Then you would bury cathodic graphite rods in the lanes between rows.

If you have acidic soil (Ph below 6.5), then you want your garden tools coated in cathodic gold or titanium, so the soil will be more alkaline where you work with it.

Then you would bury anodic magnesium ingots in the lanes between the rows.
