Now this is a national day I can get behind! May 12 is National Nutty #Fudge day!!! Even better, my protagonist, Lily Gallagher, can join in because even though she tries to avoid it, there are times when the only solution to a problem is chocolate. Although she prefers dark chocolate, 70% or thereabouts, she'll enjoy some well made fudge on occasion.

@MikeHuckebein #Fudge, wenn es gut gemacht ist, ist zwar süß aber hat auch viel Geschmack. Ich kenne das US Fudge und das UK Fudge. Und auch hier muss ich wieder US Bashing betreiben. Die Amis machen einfach eine Art Sahnekaramell und knallen Zucker ohne Ende rein.
Das UK Fudge hat natürlich auch Sahnekaramell als Basis. Ist aber weniger süß, ist mehr auf Aromen konzentriert und ist eher etwas krümelig. -
