ANON ASKED: also also what's your favorite (minecraft) modpack and why?
I've been making a few to my tastes for a while, but my favorite will always be direwolf because I grew up with it.
My favorite modded minecraft packs!
I dont think I have many past 1.12.2 unfortunately. I definitely refuse to play anything later than 1.16.5, that ore generation pisses me off im sorry lol.
Ive never reached endgame on these but enjoyed a lot of hours
- Stoneblock 1 and 2 (skyfactory in a cave)
- SkyFactory 3 (stoneblock with less depression)
- Sevtech Ages (progress and evolve like a caveman brain
- Magiculture 2 (friends are important though
Direwolf20 1.12 is probably my favorite kitchen sink pack.
That or FTB revelations. But right now I have my "forever world" with standard minecraft style on a pretty heavily modified version. I can share the added mods list in a reply to this post.
Stoneblock and Skyfactory scratch the clicker itch
It's a novel but cool way to use the sieves it always fascinated me to make your own thing out of nothing, just surviving and extending out. I mildly prefer Stoneblock 2 more I think, in fact even talking about it is making me wanna play something again lol.
Sevtech Ages is annoying as fuck! /lighthearted
One of those hardcore packs that I keep coming back to that because I never learn I barely get into the stone age. I like the idea of starting from nothing, but its a lot more exploring and sorry but im a minecraft housewife
Magiculture is really cool where you need your friends.
Theres like 3 specialties and knowledges you can take and thats the only category where you follow, with guided quests, for a while. and if you need like, a machine, your friend provides the work. It's really cool but if one person suddenly poofs yeaah thats frustrating.
Theres a few more I had fun with
Regrowth where your goal is to restore the land, but its woefully outdated like 1.7 and i cant cope that far back. Pixelmon/Cobblemon of course, but i dont know what the differences are or if there was any mod drama. Tried Farming Valley which is supposed to give that stardew valley feel, but because its very reliant on money and you cant build as much as you normally would, eh.
My favorites are Quest Packs.
Even with my direwolf save I'm like ultra bored =v= Theres not many goals to have except for play the damn game. I also like when they teach me how to use a mod that mystified me.
