After inspiring countless house acts with their mid-90s debut, the French reinvented their sound with the release of their second album, Discovery, on 12 March 2001.
Reborn as humanoid machines in the run-up to the record, the gold and silver helmeted duo dug into disco, funk and rock, producing one of the best electronic music albums ever made.
