I just went for a walk in the Fredericton Botanic Gardens. Over thirty years ago, I helped build that place. I designed and installed the nature trails (no gas tools, all picks, axes, bucksaws, and shovels), and planted hundreds of trees. I was mentored by botanist Hal Hinds, and got my start as a botanic illustrator with him. Where there once was a field, there now is a forest. I did that.
