We just came home from a community event full of board games and TTRPGs where we took some photos for next year's calendar.
This one is from CCON Comic Con Stuttgart a few years ago where some nice people tried to teach the foxes #Battletech. Rolling those tiny dice with paws is a bit hard but it was a lot of fun.

When filling a vending machine for a community event, I thought the geometric look of the vertical metal bars inside the machine were a nice contrast to the more organic photos that I usually take.
This is of course #notsponsored but take it as a reminder to hydrate, now that the weather gets warmer in the northern hemisphere. But maybe prefer water and only use sugary drinks as an occasional treat.

The days are finally getting longer again, you can leave the house without freezing and nature is waking up. Perfect time for a nice long walk or a bicycle trip.
The foxes are too small to have their own bikes but they're happy to accompany you or show you the way by climbing on the right signs.

When I picked this to be the February picture, I must have been a bit too optimistic. Right now, we're getting the heaviest snowfall I've seen all winter.
Anyway, this serves as a reminder that even in a fox-themed calendar, we love diversity and everyone is welcome. In this case, our guests are a good friend's #horse plushies.

The last few days were pretty eventful. Our new year's eve party started with a fire alarm at 7:30 am, caused by a burning backup battery. But don't worry, apart from smelling of smoke, all foxes are unharmed.
Let's still hope that 2026 will be a bit more relaxed than the last day of 2025.

The #FoxCalendar goes into its tenth year overall and its fourth year here on the fediverse. To celebrate, the title page contains a collage of previous title pages.

Like the previous picture, this one was shot at the nearby comic con. Sadly, I forgot to ask for the cosplayers' names so I can't credit them directly. They were really awesome and happy to contribute to the calendar!
I'm in the final steps of preparing next year's calendar so keep your eyes open for more photos!

This photo might not look like much but it has a lot of emotional value for us. The foxes and I live in a big city with very little greenery. So every year in April we rent a small cottage out in the woods and enjoy the sounds and smells of nature.

Dear friends of the #FoxCalendar, once again I'm a bit late in creating the new thread. The holidays have been busy and there have been some sad news that the foxes had to help me deal with.
But now I'm back, ready to show you the 9th edition of the fox plushy calendar. Once again, all photos were taken by me or close friends of mine. Feel free to share but please link back to me. If you want a printed copy, hit me up, I have some spares.

And with this, the second year of posting my plushy calendar on Mastodon comes to an end. Next year, there will of course be a new one with twenty physical copies (my biggest print run so far) already on their way to my place and of course I'll also post everything here.

Sometimes, when the present becomes overwhelming, we long for the nostalgia-clouded memories of our childhood. For me, that's a mysterious land called "the 90s" and I guess the foxes wanted to see what it was like back then.

Around the fox den, fall is in full swing and that's the perfect occasion to hole up with a cup of tea or hot chocolate and a tasty snack. Our favorite treat is homemade Bohemian cheesecake and even though plushy paws aren't the best tools, the foxes managed to make one.
