It's the final night of 2024 Finnish presidential election tonight. They are counting votes right now. Alexander Stubb from The National Coalition Party has 52,6% of the votes and Pekka Haavisto from The Green League has 47,4% of the votes.
What amazes me is that according to the polls a sexual orientation is a reason for 40% of Stubb voters not to vote for Haavisto. This is one of the reasons I did not personally vote for Stubb for the final round. Finland is a country of 5,5 million that consists of way too many racist hillbillies. Journalists even stated Finland back in the days as a "pikku-Jenkkilä" which means "a Small America"...
