I am very excited about all the new features announced at Figma Conf 2023. It is definitely no longer just a design tool for static projects. Here are some highlights:

- Min/max sizes (similar to CSS min/max/clamp)
- Wrap auto layouts (similar to flex-wrap)
- Variables (similar to CSS var() + db)
- Dev mode (similar to git, browser devtools, storybook, codegen, and a lot more)
- VSCode plugin

Attending #FigmaConfig is my first deep return to Moscone Center since immersing myself in the final MacWorld Expo in 2013.

It’s actually quite an emotional experience, and, man, am I grateful for all the fabulous memories we made together back then.

Virtual conferences aren’t bad, but they will never even remotely create the community of an in-person show.

They've announced wrapping auto-layouts at #FigmaConfig and they seem to work like intrinsic CSS grids!

This is very exciting to me because it means design tools are starting to reflect how modern CSS layout works!
