Cosmic Latte: The Average Color of the #Universe
The universe's average color is a beige-like hue, known as cosmic latte (#FFF8E7). This was determined by averaging the light from 200,000 galaxies in the 2dF Galaxy Redshift Survey. The color has reddened over time, suggesting an increase in redder stars.
