Remember how #DOGE said they were going to modernize the Federal Employee Retirement System (#FERS) and eliminate unnecessary paper forms and excessive processing delays?
Nearly a year after I was fired by DOGE, I sent in a paper application for a refund of my FERS contributions. DOGE hadn't (and still hasn't) implemented an online application.
Today, after 4½ months, I received a letter saying my refund is approved.
I still don't have the money, just the letter.
Much winning, super efficiency!
