Mein Filzkiesel - Wäscheexperiment ist gut ausgegangen. Ich hatte Bedenken, dass die Wollfüllung zu stark verfilzt, aber der Kiesel hat lediglich die Form etwas verändert, er ist nun oval statt rund.
Nichts geändert hat sich an der schlechten Naht und an den Pelzkäferlöchern, das war auch nicht zu erwarten. Die Oberfläche war sehr gut gewalkt, und ist sehr dick. Ein altes Stück aus meinen Filzanfängen. Ich weiß nicht einmal mehr, ob er mit selbst gewaschenen und kardiertem Vlies gefüllt ist. Daher weiß ich jetzt auch nicht, ob sich jedes meiner Kissen so waschen lässt. Ich kaufe das Vlies zum Füllen jetzt immer. Ich habe ihn ganz normal zur 40° Wäsche gegeben.
Jetzt überlege ich natürlich, ob ich noch etwas an der Naht ändern kann 🤔

Teil 2 meiner Tasche, 3 FunFacts Folgen lang gefilzt. (Beim Zuschneiden der Schablonen und Auslegen der Wolle kann ich keinerlei Ablenkung brauchen, deshalb hat die Arbeit länger gedauert, als 3 FunFacts Folgen. Und ja, ich hatte da noch einiges nachzuholen, ich war im Urlaub ohne WLAN).

Ich habe heute endlich und tatsächlich mit dem Filzen meiner Tasche begonnen, als erstes einen breiten Trageriemen, der nach unten hin schmaler zuläuft, dann rund wird. Den breiten Teil werde ich dann noch besticken, so ganz zum Schluss, wenn alles andere fertig ist.
Als nächstes muss ich mich dann für die Form der Tasche entscheiden und für die Anzahl der Fächer, mindestens 3, Handy, Portemonnaie, und weiterer Kram, kompakt, aber geräumig, leicht zugänglich.

Part 2 Tunis sheep continued: felting experiment
I apologize for the last long thread--I'll post fewer at a time..I carded the waste leftover from spinning and made a felt sample. It wasn't great, but not bad either, so I soaked it overnight in Aluminum triformate, which is a cold-water mordant. I dyed it with madder root, which I'll share in the next post.
The felt shown here is not quite completely done, and I had to fix it a bit. -

Little yellow eyed penguin has feet now I have non-broken needles.
The needles from Filzrausch are worlds better and so much finer than the flimsy one that came in the beginner’s Ashford kit. And a wooden holder ensures a relaxed grip. Much more enjoyable. Less self-mutilatory too.
