Hmmm, my blog is throwing 500 errors, that's new, gateway errors have happened before, but not basic 500s. I suspect my blog/Friendica instance might be dead, and while the abruptness is a surprise, its not unexpected. Previously it was hosted with SpaceHost, and something happened over there, at one point there was a reply to a post about billing that it would resume once the lawyers reviewed things. Yeah, that sounds weird, and it was only a couple months later that @gofedi took over the hosting and said the rates would be unchanged… And billing never resumed nor did their site ever switch from coming soon to services offered.
Welp, going to miss some people over there, I had a few very active Diaspora accounts that I'd love to follow or wish could follow me here, but what can one do, Diaspora doesn't share with most of the Fediverse.
I do need to find a host for Wafrn, I was already planning on switching to it, this place is good, but I do prefer to have my own, @admin or @barkmin know of anyone that's offering hosted instances?

If I worked on a way for people to Self-Host there own instance by resetting it up like I'd self-host at mine but then give them the device so they don't have to pay monthly fees, Do you think people would pay for that?

Added the two instance that I currently run to the mix of Fediverse Hosted stuff. I will have to work on adding more information as well as the other hosting pages in the future but so far, so good.

Slowly making progress on parts of the site including the Fediverse Hosting. Just need to detail the actual Fediverse Hosting pages, along with the servers such as bikersgo.social and app.southampton.social.

There's obviously so much more work that I've got with vex.blue.

I might have to refactor the whole site in the future but always open to feedback.

Added both of the converters to the Fediverse Services section on https://vex.blue along with a video embed of a video explaining what the Fediverse is... There's got to be more that I can do to explain what the Fediverse is along with giving people the tools & support they need.

I need to explain and pretty up the Hosting & Tweaks sections in the future as currently they are shockingly bad but progress is getting there, Any feedback is helpful.

The No Idea party are looking for someone with fediverse server hosting capacity, thick skin, and their tongue firmly embedded in cheek.

We need pro bono host for a fediverse server using our domain name. Which we will use for an account for official party statements, and later on, official accounts for candidates, apparatchiks, and maybe camp followers.

We'd like to get it set up by the middle of next year, in time for our run at the local body elections.
