@[email protected] Another character with no canonical name, my favourite character for the letter P is the Princess, from Black Tabby Games' hit visual novel Slay the Princess. I will limit myself to quoting from the song "Innuendo", by Queen:
You can be anything you want to be
Just turn yourself into anything you think that you could ever be
Be free with your tempo be free be free
Surrender your ego be free be free to yourself #FavCharacterAtoZ, #FavCharacterP -

Tried to go in depth with this but it turned into another essay and was mostly about -other- characters, so to be concise Peter Parker, Greg Weisman and Victor Cook's animated Spectacular Spidey version specifically. Because of scenes like this.

@ami_angelwings Spiderman has been like. the only super hero I've given a shit about since I was like literally three years old so putting anyone other than Peter Parker as my #FavCharacterP feels disingenuous.
There's a sharpness to peter (in his best iterations) that make him really compelling to me, like not only is he fun and quippy but in spite of meaning well he can be kind of pithy and smarmy in a way that adds texture to a character that could have very easily just been "generic good guy". He's a really well executed version of a simple archetype, and he's meant a lot to me through most of my life in tons of different iterations.

For #FavCharacterP I have chosen the Princess from Tis Time For "Torture" Princess/Hime-sama, "goumon" no jikan desu
The commander of The Third Order of the Imperial Army, she has nerves of steel and even after being captured by the demon king's forces and forced to undergo grueling "torture" on a daily basis she NEVER EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES breaks and gives away imperial secrets even for tasty food or chances to go to the amusement park with her friends.

For some reason I kept thinking my #FavCharacterP was between Poison (who I know is trans and hot but don't know anything else about), Painkiller Jane (who I think is cool but only started to read her comics), or Pikachu or Princess Peach (who are fun but also oversaturated).
But I forgot my original pick for P, Piccolo from Dragon Ball!
When I watched DBZ (in the original Canadian of course), I had no idea who he was except he was a villain & fought Goku before but I immediately liked him as a practical villain willing to put aside differences. And then of course he became Best Dad to Gohan before "killer men who become surrogate dads" was the in thing.
He's smart, strategic, brave, and his sacrifice to save Gohan remains one of my favourite moments in fiction.

@ami_angelwings There are some letters for whom #FavCharacterAtoZ are difficult, when looking only at time travel fiction.
#FavCharacterP is not one of those.
Mr. Peabody. A cartoon series, a movie, and a shoutout in "Back to the Future".
Great puns too.

My #FavCharacterP might be a character I just learned about today and binged their comics to see if I like them

I don't scare or frighten easily and never because of a video game character. That was challenged by my #FavCharacterP from Silent Hill 2 Pyramid Head

@ami_angelwings #FavCharacterAtoZ #FavCharacterP Popeye! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_goFeM4V7OE Started out as a bit character in E.C. Segar's "Thimble Theater" comic. The strip originally featured the adventures of Castor Oyl and his buddy Ham Gravy, and Popeye came in as the sailor boyfriend of Castor's sister Olive. He became so popular he took over the strip, like Fonzie on Happy Days. My favorite things about him are his mispronunskiations and the things he mutters under his breath, as exemplified in the linked clip.

@ami_angelwings For #FavCharacterP I'm going with Pug, sometimes known as Milamber, the titular Magician in Raymond E Feist's tome of that name which leads off The Riftwar Saga. I've read those books over and over through nearly my entire life and it's still a ripping yarn, and Pug's the focus character for large portions of it. Those first few books still hold up, IMO, even if they are The Author's Thinly Disguised D&D Campaign in a lot of ways. Classic fantasy adventure shenanigans.

The Pink Panther’s surreal humor, top-notch soundtrack and slapstick were another big part childhood. So much done and shown without ever saying a word. And all from a bit cartoon created to publicize a movie! -
