I've noticed one thing on #campus in #HigherEd... Style of dress becomes far more casual (across the board, faculty, staff, and students) in the #SpringSemester compared the #FallSemester.

More sweatpants, fewer high maintenance skirts, more sweatshirts and fewer buttons. Way more sneakers than shoes.

Todays agenda on this frosty morning in New England: check on barn animals (including a very elusive barn cat up in the attic). Go for a walk. Go to my office and grade. Meet with 3 history capstone students I’m mentoring this term. On my way home, stop by and visit an Afghan family we’ve become friends with since they moved to Worcester last year. After dinner meet up with a couple who’s just begun attending my church congregation. #FridayPlans #fallsemester #historianatwork #worklifebalance
