Here we go again ... The Archivist of the USA, Dr. Colleen Shogan, refuses to publish the ERA, based on a misunderstanding of the Office of Legal Counsel's opinion ... or so she claims.

She has also (according to the WSJ) done some other weird things like ordering the removal of images of Martin Luther King Jr., and other prominent black and brown people and ordered her staff to find success stories of white people.

Biden appointed her. All managers make hiring mistakes; most of us face up to them and fix them, but not Biden.

Another legal argument for dismissing Congressionally imposed deadline for #ERA is no one ever put the deadline in the official ERA legal document. So, while a deadline was set by Congress, the amendment itself does not reflect it. I would think that, alone, would seal the deal. #ERANOW #Biden

There isn't much precedent to support enforcement of Congressionally imposed deadline to Constitutional amendment. Article V of Constitution itself does not even mention deadlines. To me, activation of #ERANOW is a no brainer. Would guarantee a positive legacy for #Biden among normal, sane people.

Just read there's only ever been 1 amendment to Constitution w/ imposed Congressional deadline...Amendment 21, repealing Prohibition. Yet that's the primary argument of opponents to #ERA. Also, Amendment 27 was activated after lying dormant for over 200 yrs. How is deadline relevant? #ERANOW #Biden

I keep trying, but would be surprised if #Biden will publish #ERA. In 31 minute interview, it came up for like 3 seconds. While he admitted there's a concensus for it, he said he wasn't sure if he could get it done before he leaves office. Why?? All it takes is a quick call or email. 🤔 #ERANOW

We like to think we are a #democracy but we are not. In a democracy, everyone has guaranteed equal rights. 51% of the US population has NEVER had equal rights or protection by the Constitution. Publish the #ERANOW #ERA #BIDEN

Yes!! It definitely could. 45's one call kept it out. So absolutely no reason whatsoever Biden's one call can't get it added, especially since it should have already been certified by the archivist, who is NOT doing her job!! I call for Colleen Shogan to certify or get fired!! #ERA #ERANow #Biden
