For twenty years I'e been trying to articulate this wingnut theory about similarities between how mathematics is done and how society deals with rulebreakers - maths had several big "Oh, no" moments in the first half of the 20th century that showed fundamental limits on what was knowable, and I think there's parallels to how the rich fuckers break laws and somehow never go to jail. The solution won't be better laws or enforcement.

Anyways, I got it down to about twenty minutes yesterday, and still my tester's eyes were glazing over.

For over half a century now, computer scientists have been trying to mould #software development into an engineering discipline, without success. Software practice firmly remains an art form that does not yield to formalisation.

Software Engineering problem might well be a corollary of Hilbert’s #Entscheidungsproblem.

Ich frag mich grade, ob ich zuviele Ansprüche habe an Personen, mit denen man gemeinam leben möchte?
Ich meine, man teilt die Wohnräume miteinander, da sollte es doch irgendwo Schnittmengen in den Interessen geben oder?

Nachdem heute morgen aus einer Anfrage meinerseits auf eine vielversprechende Anzeige nix wurde, stelle ich mir selbst grade diese Frage bei meiner eigenen Suche nach Mitbewohnis. Bei der Anzeige, auf die ich geschrieben hatte, stand vegetarisch/vegan dabei, und zwar auch im Text. Dann gehe ich doch davon aus, dass dort kein Fleisch/Fisch gelagert/verzehrt wird oder? Stellt sich bei der Konversation dann raus, nee, wird doch Fleisch gegessen und gelagert.
Hä? Warum schreibt man das dann da rein? Es ist doch so schon schwer genug was zu finden.

Naja.... anyway:
Wenn ihr euch entscheiden müsstet zwischen zwei Ansprüchen, die ihr rausstreichen müsstet, welche von diesen beiden würdet ihr streichen?
1) gemeinsam kochen und einkaufen
2) vegane/vegetarische Person

Ich kann mich nicht entscheiden, finde beides auf Dauer nervig, wenn es nicht vorhanden wäre.
Aber offensichtlich muss etwas davon wegfallen. 😕
