#Menschenhandel und eine moderne Form der #Sklaverei sind die Grundlage für viele #Scam-Fabriken in #Myanmar. Auch unter Anwendung von #Folter werden dort tausende Menschen zum Online-Betrug gezwungen. (Hintergründe dazu z. B. im Podcast "Legion: House of Scam" @khesraubehroz)

Jetzt gibt es diesbezüglich gute Nachrichten: Nachdem das Militär diese Woche den berüchtigten #KKPark stillgelegt hat (siehe Link), gibt es heute erste Berichte, dass inzwischen über 600 dort ehemals Festgehaltene über die Grenze nach Thailand fliehen konnten.

To the best of my knowledge, Leonard Peltier has still not been released. I'm seeing it happens Tuesday. I pray. With our descendance into hell by #PresidentMusk, who really knows what happens tomorrow or the next day.
Pray for Peltier's release. It's been 50 years he's been imprisoned. He's 80 something. Let him take his last breaths as a mostly free man in his Native Lands.
