it’s at this time of year when we reflect on the year or actully the past in general. it’s a nostaglic time lots of traditions too.

That to say here I am looking back at the year. it’s been an intresting one, I mean my radio show ended for one.

I said at the start of the year that I wanted to post on here (michaelmuto.com if you’re reading this on Tumblr or Mastodon and the like) And I’ve done that defentitly. Lost of regualr posts like Michael Muto’s Shout-Outs and during the summer the vlogs series. Altough that last one was more of a YouTube thing. But still I really do love this little site it’s my fun little project to work on. I remember when I was really getting going with it over the summer I’d be asked what I was up to and almost everytime it was messing about with the site.

I was going to do an end of year list for here actully. I always think of doing one. Like my favorite music and films and stuff but I can never do one. I don’t know how people do them I can never pick favorites. like theres no order with the shout-out posts. The fact something is on list 15 and not 1 is nothing. It’s just what I’m liking or thinking about in that week. But I can never pick like ten favorites of anything let alone rank them! This isn’t to say by the way that I don’t think people should. I love ranked favorite lists. It’s just a skill I don’t have I guess. Like I’ve never been able to give a favorite film. I’m fickle I guess.

Anyway what was I even saying? oh yeah! It’s the end of the year a time of reflection but also a look towards the futrure and a possibilites that it has.

So I left Spotify earlier this year and realized that I would miss the #EndOfTheYear stuff. So I went back to an old technology and began #scrobbling with Last.FM in May. My end-of-year is different, and maybe harder to read but I like it, plus I can control some of what I get to show you. The visualization was done with #LastWave and if you want to do the same there are instructions for importing your #Spotify into #LastFM and then running the #visualizer. #Tidal
