In case you're wondering, today is #ely #eel day. Where the citizens of this small cathedral city head down to the waterside to glimpse their aquatic overlords. We sing, the children dance and much Pimms is consumed. Later, the rituals will commence.

FLOODING CONCERNS CONTINUE:

The #Arrowhead portion of the #Northland remains under a #Flood Advisory through most of Wednesday for minor #flooding possible along waterways.

The South Kawishiwi River southeast of #Ely will be in flood stage starting Wednesday, and continue through the weekend.

Any flood stages are likely to be minor, but be aware of any closures to roads and trails.

Any #Ely #Cambridgeshire people around on here? It's my wife's birthday in a couple of weeks, I'm trying to decide where to take her for dinner. Haven't tried many of the restaurants in town since moving here so I'm looking for suggestions. Piccolo Lounge looks like the frontrunner at the moment.
