I'm a former worker for one of the major electric power utilities in the Pacific Northwest. If that company lost 20% of its workers all at once, there sure as hell would be an effect on its ability to provide reliable service and to maintan its part of the grid.
But Trump and Musk don't care about small details like this.

In the Network Waitaki Power area. Power has been off for 1 hr and counting. Outages map is pointless. It doesn't show any outages apart from scheduled ones. I have reported it but seems prehistoric. I know Waitaki has more country areas to look after but when I lived in Auckland you could see which streets were out and when they would be fixed.
