Here's a hot little noodle for the beautiful cellist I met on the bus. I'll practice more and record something else later -- just walked in the door. This is a sample of that #Ibanez Ashula SRAS7 fretless+fretted #electricbass I have.

Pre-ordered a #ChaseBliss: Lost & Found solely for the "resonator" effect to have a stereo + #MIDI parallel to the #ElectronicAudioEffects: Prismatic Wall in a diff rig.

This will be the last small batch preorder available for several years. If you're undecided & can afford/finance one, do it! Second hand markets will be even more expensive.

"small batch" means they build as many units as received that month. You'd be guaranteed to receive a pedal but, it's only avail that month. I think it's a really cool idea. Too bad...

I gotta say, I'm not a huge fan of pickguards.

Even if the shape looks cool, I'd rather see wood grain, texture. I'd rather have the feel of a natural material over plastic or acryllic.

Instead of a black synthetic pickguard, why not ebony or any other wood, even if it's got a black finish? How about metal that's been hit with flame to colorize it? Roll the edges, embed it, or bind it. Give me a good finger rest while you're at it!

I guess it's fine on plain woods. Those almost always get painted anyway. Alternatively, they could be carved, burned, or inlayed with stone.

Here's one way to use a tremolo pedal.

Plug it into a parallel mixer / loop switcher with a distortion so it blends the distortion in and out to give a noxious pulse.
Plug a fuzz into a different loop and run the dry signal through.
Reverb full wet with its own overdrive pedal in another loop.
Blend to taste.

Yes, I am using three different #NativeAudio distortion #effectsPedals tonight.

I hear people are even more fake on the Internet than than are IRL. You won't find that here. I'm not going to pretend that my gear is always neat. It's not. This is what things really look like.

Sometimes, I want to try something out & have to reroute power & patch cables. Then it just stays like that for a while and the pedals are not lined up all pretty anymore. lol

I got one of the last #JamPedals Ripply Falls bass #effectsPedals ever made!

They sent out an E-mail stating they were discontinuing them. Twenty of the regular artwork remained. Within an hour of receiving the message, all those were gone. I wanted this Archenbach art version. It's really cool and is the first piece to make my #fretlessBass #pedalboard.

The bottom row is before the amp and the rest are in the FX loop. Signal chain is from right to left and right to left. Yes, that is a nasty overdrive After the reverb and it sounds wicked. You should try it some time.

When the collection is complete, the actual board/shelf that holds these will have a blacklight. 😋

En breve recibiré mi bajo eléctrico (Yamaha BB5GS Pearl White) restaurado. Como tengo una interfaz digital (Behringer U-phoria UMC204HD) y no quiero traer más chismes al piso (mi amplificador Crate BX-100 pesa 30 kg y ocupa un montón), me pregunto:
- ¿Puedo conectar el bajo directamente a la interfaz?
- ¿Qué software necesitaría para simular la amplificación y poder oirme en tiempo real al tocar?
He estado mirando Guitarix, pero no me queda claro si es lo que busco. ¿Alguien lo ha probado?
Uso Linux (EndeavourOS) y, si es posible, prefiero software open source.
