Every oil and gas company I deal with — with the possible exception of #Colombia state-run producer #Ecopetrol — tells the public & investors that it's so good that its oil & gas will be the last drop to flow as the energy transition advances. All plans for restoring the economy of #Venezuela hinge on increasing oil output.

These promoters all say it's impossible to get off oil right away, that there will still be demand in 2050. They completely misunderstand the nature of the crisis.
