So. My phone went into "emergency battery mode" just as the #eclipse was at max. Photos are meh.
It was a cloudless sky and an outdoor temperature of around 30c. I loved -and had forgotten, thus a pleasant surprise) how the temperature rapidly drops.
During the eclipse four road cyclists stopped and borrowed my glasses. One couple was truly in awe. So that's another thing I had forgotten: the human experience of it all. Fun!
